I don't understand the question "shoot a different depth." Do you mean "depth of field"? If you do, you have to choose bigger or smaller aperture settings. On your camera you can choose wider (bigger) aperture by choosing portrait mode. But it seems like your camera does not have any other setting but you can try landscape mode.
