- download picasa from google. i like it a lot and its free.
- Actually you can get photoshop elements (under $100) but with most of the photographic tools found on photoshop. Photoshop is really a pre-press program which has many tools a photographer will never use. For free you can download Photofiltre and it will give you a good start. I must ask. What is wrong with the program that came with your digital camera.
- Irfanview is the free program I first started with. Gimp is an other free program that's good. For the money, I would recommend Corel Paint Shop Pro Photo X2 or Ulead PhotoImpact. They are excellent programs at a value price. Excellent capabilities. They are a fraction of the price of Photoshop. Try their 30 day free trails to see what you think. Have fun!
- Photoshop Elements, sometimes on sale for about $25.00
- Hello, you should consider using GIMP ( http://www.gimp.org ). Its an opensource program that works very well and is absolutely free for downloading from its website. I use it and it works vvery well
