- kodak m753 or any canon one. the kodak for leisure fun pics, canon for the big black ones that take really good pics. it isnt the camera that is good, though, its the lens. my dad has one canon camera and like 5 removable lenses for different zooms
- canon one
- Nikon D40 or Canon XTi would be good choices. Sony makes a nice product with their Alpha series, as does Olympus and their Evolt line. Of course, we can't leave out Pentax. That being said, you really need to handle each and every camera before making a decsion. It sounds like you require a DSLR to get interchangeable lenses (those black ones?) and a camera with auto modes to get you started. http://www.stunningnikon.com/picturetown/ http://www.kenrockwell.com/nikon/d40.htm I like the D40 for it's simplicity and ease of use. But it's also a camera you can grow with. There are more expensive models out there, but the D40 is currently available for $550, which leaves you with around $250 for another lens. You could get a D40 with an 18-55mm zoom and a 55-200mm VR (Vibration Reduction) telezoom for your $800 target. It's a 6 megapixel camera (trust me, that's plenty) that has manual settings and a growing Nikon system behind it. These pictures were taken with my D50 a couple of weeks ago. The D50 is the older camera that the D40 replaced. http://www.spmsportspage.com/images/college/football/2007/California-45-Tennessee-31-09-01-2007/DSC_0065_GHYoung.html Not bad for an economy camera, heh? I hope this is helpful for you.
- Something that has manual setting so you can learn on things. Since you're a beginner, you don't have to get anything expensive just yet. I would reccomend a Canon Powershot S5 IS with 8 megapixel sensor, 12x optical zoom and SLR-like operation. It goes for around $380 depending on the stores. When you're improving and ready for a new camera (say, 2-4 years or may be sooner if you've been into a photography class in the meantime) then you might want to pick a DSLR.
- Canon EOS Digital Rebel XT SLR 8-MP Camera is the best choice by far it has the best user friendly options easy for normal girls going out to do normal things but taking great pictures; check it out on this web site link http://www.ritzcamera.com/product/541161212.htm?bct=t1134 ritzcamera.com Also had the best price on line I could find I checked the top five web sites for camera sales.
