  7. Pretty good throughout. Question: Is DSCN0521 supposed to be suggestive?
  8. some are good like the sky, flower and wood! but most of them aren't that great! make sure in your photos you fill the picture with the chosen subject!! and if there is sea or sky view make sure theres not to much! and keep the camera straight, anyway you could be good, remember practice makes perfect! good luck!
  9. They're cute! As long as you go to college as well as being a photographer, you will go far in life!
  10. its really Good when i was little i wanted by photographer
  11. I think some of your pictures look really great. it definitely seems like you have an eye for beautiful photography and if you really love it i bet you will do well as a professional photographer with more experience. Great work :)
  12. Use more depth of field. Open up your F-stop more to increase effect. (The smaller your aperature, the tighter focused everything at every distance will be.) Adjust your shutter speed accordingly. Have fun!!!
  13. i like the bottom 3 on page 1 and the woods near the bottom and the one 2 along from there. the black and wihite baby is good also. and the city one Great work! :-)

  20. Yes,, You have a good eye and you take awesome photos...I especially like the second one of black and white...I also have alot of photos similar to yours...I had to look twice at the one with tire marks on by the ocean..I have one so much like that and it is one of my favorites,, I call it the END OF THE ROAD...do you name yours...I take many of flowers and clouds too but my very favorite are sunrises and sunsets especially over the water...Keep up the good work. You are starting out well ... I am a photographer ,and one thing to remember EVERYONE has different taste,,and never be offended by other's critisim ..If you like the picture TAKE it and enjoy it and than take another one with different lighting or add something until you get the LOOK you want..YOU will KNOW it.. I had jobs as a wedding photographer for yrs and 12 yrs at portraits,( They were fun but NOT easy) I miss working and I just free lance now..I will never think of it as work,,The work part is NEVER taking them its selling and collecting the $ ...Again GOOD LUCK!
  21. I realize that I'm only one person, but I have been making and viewing photos for a long time! You do have some real talent - I loved the pail on the sand at the beach - very nice. The one at the camp and the clouds - yes, you definitely have talent and should take every photography course you can find! You could have a wonderful career ahead of you - you have a very good eye for shape & color!
  22. Thos are pretty good pictures Courtney.......I think you have a lot of potential.........I would take Photography in school and in college and you will have a good shot at being a great photographer. BTW your cat looks exactly like mine. Is he a manx?? the type with no tail.......couldn't tell in your picture
  23. Nice job. I have been clickin' for thirty years and remember when it all started. Begin working on your framing first. Figure out what you want in the shot and what you don't. Next, get magazines at the library and look for pictures that you like and then see if you can duplicate the technique. Finally, cameras can now do everything it took me 30 years to learn, but they still can't tell you when to snap the shot. If you are going to be a professional find out what you love to take pictures of. If it is people, learn to interact successfully. If it is landscapes - learn patience. You need to learn to look at a subject in 2 dimensions not 3, and sometimes that is hard to do. Develop your own eye and don't give up just because someone criticizes your work. Good Luck!
  24. Nice work! I've been shooting since I was a young critter like you, have taken classes etc. I suggest you take some classes, even learn how to develop and process in the darkroom. This will help you concentrate on composition. Very nice work indeed. Take classes in school. Recently I started a greeting card line based on 45 years of taking black and white photographs and color too. I'm under web-site construction at sonofason.com.....keep up the good work.....keep shooting the story, one frame at a time......
