Where do I start,as far as trying to get my own website up,to sell my photography.?

It seems all that I get is the run around. I have some old pictures I'm trying to download and sell. I know I need a scanner,which I have. I need to find a reliable site to sell them on.

1. you can get your own website up using php-fusion. Go to php-fusion.co.uk and you can download a site sofwear. THen you need a server to host your site. Look on google for "free hosting" good luck
2. deviantart has a prints option that is really nice. I would check it out. Deviantart.com
3. Try Etsy.com. They are quite inexpensive for listing work and they will enable you to sell for a small fee (I believe 3.75% per piece commission) using credit cards/paypal. This would limit your interaction with attempting to figure out payment, and help you be more able to focus on creating work.
