What size photo do I need to sell it for stock photography?
I've heard to avoid sites that charge you to list your photos, so I only want to go with something professional. I'm just starting though. Do I need a certain pixel size? File size? Is jpg okay or do I need to use a Photoshop format?

- It depends on the website! If you go on getty images or on featurepics.com, they'll say what the minimum is. In general, I think it's no smaller than 800 pixels. Any 3MP camera qualifies, so anything bigger is fine. In my experience though, you have better chances of selling commercially with a format like 3648 x 2736 because commercial use usually means they want to blow it up or crop it. Most stock photos want JPG only. Good luck!
