Sell photographs online?

I have taken many photographs for my Photography A2 Level project. Some of these I believe could have retail value. Are there any good sites for selling your own photographs. Is there a commission, do you get all the money, is it safe, are they effective?

  1. Try ebay
  2. i don't know what kind of photos that you have but maybe you can try selling them as stock photos... try websites like www.corbis.com or www.istockphoto.com their submission guide should be listed in their website... if yours is good enough, then they will want to list your photos in their library... i think the payment is based on commission
  3. You can have a look at these two sites: http://www.etsy.com http://www.yessy.com Your other choice is to pick up the "2007 Photographers Market" handbook. You can find it on amazon.com Hope this helps, Kevin
  4. try http://www.deviantart.com/
  5. Submit them to stock photography sites (Image Libraries). Alamy is a big one but there are loads. Its free to submit. Companies search the libraries to buy images for their magazines or websites. Good Luck!
