1. If you are just starting photography as a hobby then don't worry much about pro camera or equipment. Just get a P&S digital camera (with image stabilisation) and start snapping away! Camera doesn't matter. You could get a very good P&S camera for under £150. Take pics of almost anything and everything, from different perspectives and under different lighting. Read photo critiques, look at pro-shots and read how they took and the settings used. As it is your hobby, enjoy every moment of it!
