How do i get started in Photography?

Other than a camera, how do i start in photography? I think i want it as a hobby. What would i take pictures of? How do i edit them? I need to know everything i can about it.

1. *Take up a class in your local college * Buy any photography magazine * Take images of what interests you, and what you enjoy. You haven't clarified whether your doing 35mm photography or digital photography.
2. flowers and sunsets and edit them in picnik to make everything black and white except one thing in colour and post them here and ask if they are good if ppl like them you are a photographer

TAKE PICTURES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! just random pictures, take classes, and if you excell in those classes, theyll probably recomend some good places that need photographers, like newspapers. or theyd help you find an agent to get your photos noticed :)
