- It depends on what your looking for. beginner slr user? If your looking at the other smaller cameras you want to take a look at either canon or nikon those are great brands and you wont go wrong with either of them. Go to a local store and try some of the cameras and check how they feel on you and then you will see which one is right for you!
- If you’re new to photography then I would suggest the Canon SX10IS. You can see it here on Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001G5ZTZO/?tag=amazon-digital-cameras-20 Digital SLR’s are the best option for intermediate and professional photographers who want to get the best out of their images. For beginner photographers Digital SLR’s can be pricey and the learning curve can be very steep. The Canon SX10IS has many of the same features as a Digital SLR like a hot shoe for external flash units, a 52mm lens thread for adding filters, Shutter/Aperture/Manual Priority modes, and an Image Stabilized lens. Remember the key to becoming a great photographer is not your equipment, it’s the “know-how!” Take a photography class at your local college or school and the world of photography will really open up to you. Hope that helps :) Best Regards, Dusty
- Nikon D40 is great DSLR for beginner with affordable price. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000KJQ1DG?ie=UTF8&tag=ad107-20&linkCode=as2&camp=1789&creative=390957&creativeASIN=B000KJQ1DG
