Where can I go online to sell my photos?
I have been thinking of selling some of my photography but am not sure how to go about doing it. I have several landscape and flowers and outdoors type pictures that I have gotten many positive comments on and am looking to sell them. Where would I go to start that? and is it free?

- Those kind of photos don't sell. Even professional artists doing photography have a hard time selling photos online. You might try something like smugmug, I don't think that costs. But don't hold your breath waiting to get rich, or even sell anything. I know that sounds pessimistic, but I have been a professional artist for 15 years. Been published numerous times, been in exhibits all over the country. Sales are few and far between. My online sales were nearly zero for years, it took a long time before Google started showing my work to people searching images. Flowers and outdoor/nature type photos never sell. Everyone and his brother takes photos like that, you've gotta do something unique that sets you apart and shows that you have something to say to the world.

- You can sign up with Redbubble, it's free and they handle all printing, sales, etc. You may make a few sales but as Konstantin say's, "don't expect to make a living that way (selling your work online)." SMUGMUG has different rates and you have to upgrade to Pro status in order to sell your images. Not free...
- I found a bunch of websites you can look at. Here's a little more information on it. It's an article on how to sell your photos and artwork. All these websites are free - alot of them do look to sell for "stock photos". Good luck!
