Digital Photography Secrets
I really want to start learning about photography.?
I really don't know much about cameras and how they work at all, but my friend has a Nikon Rebel XTi and I was playing around with it and found that I can take pretty good pictures. Can someone give me some advice on where to start so that I can learn more about photography? Also what would be an affordable camera that would take decent pictures?

- you could do an evening or part time course at a universtity or college?
- It happened like that with me, I was messing around on my friends camera and I took pretty good shots and now I love it! I really love doing film instead of digital so if you want to do film get a canon EOS 300V. Its nothing special but takes fab shots. Usually around £80. Just mess around, take your camera everywhere with you so you can take shots when you see something or someone cool and interesting. Get a flickr account. (flickr.com) and put your piks up there and people comment on them and you can get advice. You can also look at others photography. Some are serious photographers, proffesional and amateur like you. Also get some photography magazines. whsmiths have a pretty good selection, you can get inspiration from them and find a photographer who you can look up to! Have fun mostly. I have a friend who also started out like you and me and now he has just started shooting for brands like Oneil, billabong and ripcurl! He doesnt have any qualifications he just works very hard!
