What are a few tips for a beginner photographer?
I am new, i mean really new to photography. I always wanted to try photography so i decided to look into it a few nights ago, I haven't found any good tips or guides so i was wondering if anyone could give me some to start off? P.S i have a Kodak EasyShare C713 camera if that matters.

- You don't have very much control with your camera, so concentrate on lighting and composition. Here are some good tips for beginners: http://www.picturecorrect.com/PhotographyTips.htm
- Read your manual !!!! Read it several times, and practice in between. Attend a class, read some books, read/watch online tutorials. The major camera manufacturers (like Canon, Nikon, Olympus etc) all have very useful sections on their website for learning about photography. Understanding at least the basic principles will enable you to make the most of your nice camera, and will make a HUGE difference to your images.

- You haven't found any? Seriously? Your google and yahoo are broken? Hmm, something stinky is in the air. http://www.tutorial9.net/category/photography/ http://www.picturecorrect.com/PhotographyTips.htm http://digital-photography-school.com/portrait-photography-tips Check out these sites. They were within the first three lines when I googled various keywords one mid summer night's eve. Pay attention to the topics of exposure, composition and lighting. Your camera is fairly limited, but these three are pretty fundamental. With a basic understanding of them your photo quality should go up at least 20 bajillion points.
