What is a good film camera for a beginner in photography that is relatively inexpensive?
Public Comments
- Almost all film cameras are relatively inexpensive. Personally, I would recommend a used Nikon. They may cost a little more, but you could buy lenses (new & used) that would fit your film camera as well as anything (including digital) you buy later. They haven't changed their mount in over 40 years, Although I would stick with a body from the eighties and lenses from the nineties as the oldest to maximize compatibility.
- Pentax K1000
- Nikon, Pentax, Canon, or Olympus.
- You can find a used Canon Rebel with a lens for fairly cheap. I started with a Rebel and think they are great to learn on.
