  1. Hi, I am not sure exactly of your situation or your web skills so here is a pretty basic look at what you need to do... Build a website with any of the hundreds of different programs out there ( Dreamweaver is pretty good ). You will then have to purchase a domain name ( http://www.godaddy.com ?) and get your site hosted. The pricing for this option can vary dramatically so obviously you would have to choose the best option for you ( extra research is always worth it! ) - Once your site is ready there is the final hurdle of advertising it and getting hits, this is where many web businesses fail, your site can be as pretty as you like but if you aren't getting the hits then it is all pretty much a waste of your time... A much easier way to get an e-business running is Site Build It, I have used them for the past 4 years now and have had nothing but good experiences. They basically build the business for you, including advertising, for a set low fee. Their site has loads and loads of great resources and lots of upfront communication. Check out the site at: http://buildit.sitesell.com/infosbi.html Its a little bit cheesy in places (I'm talking about the videos) but genuinely helpful. ( Sitesell also offers loads of other services that have been really useful in building up my business! ) There are other options available to you as well such as basic turnkey sites etc but these can be difficult to customise and advertise. They also offer very little site differentiation so basically everyone else who has bought that particular turnkey website has virtually the same web page as you...( That is never a good thing! ) - As for getting paid for advertising you should take a look at google adsense ( http://www.google.com/adsense ) I hope this info will help you on your way to starting your e-business good luck!!
