I plan on Doing nude photography possibly for profit in indiana?

I was wondering several things... 1. What forms would i need to ensure i am protected by the law. 2. What is the best way to acquire models for this purpose. I would prefer amateurs as they would be more fun to work with but if i can get a experienced nude model that would be great. 3. I plan on making things like calendars and possibly posters for the purpose of selling. 4. Where can i ask a lawyer at for free regarding these questions. Thx I mean like where can i email a lawyer to check to see if the form im going to use is acceptable to the state of indiana, legally.

  1. 1. First of all, make sure they are over 18! Also have them sign a modeling contract. 2. Try Model Mayhem (http://www.modelmayhem.com) 3. Try Blurb (http://www.blurb.com) 4. A free lawyer? Good luck with that!
  2. There is Federal law regarding the records you must keep and how long you must keep them. You will absolutely need a model release to sell your products. On top of the Federal record keeping requirements. Model Mahem, One Model Place, Craig's List, the local paper are all resources. You aren't going to get a free lawyer for this. Not a real one anyway. You want to start a business and make money from it, don't you? So, what about all those folks that want you to take "just a few shots" for free? Pay the man for a couple hours of his time now, or pay a defense attorney a LOT more later.
