How to start selling my photography?

I want to try and start to sell my photography. I was thinking about printing them onto canvases, but not sure how well they'd turn out. Has anyone tried printing photos on canvases? If so where do you get it done, and how much did it cost you?

3. Printing on canvas is a very costly way of experimenting with selling your photography. Why not start off by creating a website and have various options of ways of people to buy your images?. You can include canvas as an option. Surely it would be better to sell 20 copies of a particular image printed on A3 paper, than only one specialized print on canvas?. .
4. Canvas prints are a really nice way to showcase your photographs. Check out UPrinting, they offer a variety of options for canvas prints. You can choose from stretched or rolled canvas, border or borderless prints, and various sizes too.
