- Put some of your work up on the Internet at sites like PBASE ...
- deviantart.com you can get comments on your photos (not like myspace at all...actuall critique) and sell them when you set up a prints account The account without the prints is free to make though
- Yup, http://www.pbase.com is a great place to start. You can sell them through there. If you're interested in photography as a career, maybe as a photo journalist, put your best photos in a portfolio and send them to different magazines.
- First off you might want to get a better camera. Kodaks lag behind drastically behind Canon and Nikon. Invest some money in a new SLR, and lenses for the SLR. Send your pictures to photopgraphy magazines so that people will know your name when they see pictures in magzines. Once that happens people might want to buy your pictures. You can also set up an exhibbit at your house or at an art gallery and sell your pictures there. There are so many ways you can get started. To be honest with you. I like about 5 photos in your gallery but even at that your pictures have a lot of grain to it. Good composure of shots but its not really what people are really going to want to buy. Your pictures are way too grainy for you to sell for a lot of money. Pros- Good composure of shots, Different angles, great ideas for pictures Cons- No color, Pictures have too much noise, edges of your pictures are too soft, no real contrast of color, not really practical shots that people will buy to hang on their walls Thats my opinion, your shots are their but you need to edit most of them to get better pictures. The degree of noise I see just looking at full size on dev, its going to look really bad on paper at most likey 4X6 probably unuseable at 8X10. You need photoshop and noise nija to remove all that noise and a camera that doesnt give you all that noise in the first place.
- There is actually a book you can get at any local book seller its called the photographers market journal or something along those lines-it has info about ad agencies,magazines-anyplace that buys pics-how much they will pay per photo and such-its very helpful-good luck.
