I am 16, in chennai. i need to sell my photography, any ideas, suggestions, guidelines.PROS & CONS?

4. go to your local library and ask if you can put a display up (put your name and email adress not your phone number) and keep going to places and ask to put a display up make sure you have back ups make a website a myspace (we have no idea what yous pics look like) and make sure you dont pay for anything like someone trying to make you famous and so on just pay for your prints and supplies cost yourself as for pros and cons well you probably dont have money and your going to be spending a lot of money on cameras,supplies,prints and this will take a lot of your time and its not sure to pay off but you are an artist the pros is you have something your interested in something to talk about and hey if they do sell you may make more money than most kids your age as for guidelines you cant leagally sign contracts so the only way to sell pictures is to print them your self and sell them yourself people will either have to hand you cash or a check (open a checking account and make sure you set limits on how much you will spent)
5. It really all depends what the photos are of. If they are illegal photos (ie: pornographic) then most companies won't buy them. Then again, some online adult material websites may be interested. If they are just photos of nature, general stuff then try selling them to stock photography websites. Try doing a search in your favourite search engine for 'stock photos' to find examples. Most of these companies sell photos from existing and amateur photographers.
6. Where exactly is Chennai? There are some really interesting international sites such as jpeg.com, flickr.com, yahoo photos comes to mind, and some are better than others. Flickr.com and Jpeg.com are I think better than yahoo, except yahoo has good media coverage, so there is some give and take. There are many other sites. I suggest you google more than a few of them and then amaze all of us with your incredible work. No offense, see if the Check Spelling is available to you.
7. If they are just photos not porn you need a stock agent to sell them for you, try http://submit.shutterstock.com/ they will have to be raw high res images though.
8. Try deviANT ART, they give you profiles (for free) well some. On which you can sell or just get your work out. The saturday market is good too, you can make your own booth, the people will come to you, they always do. Go to some of the art studios around town with your photos/ART basiclly just get out their and show people how determined you are, someone will notice!! Even if you have to keep e-mailing publishers for months persistance is what makes it work. Trust me, I'm an artist myself. It can take a long time for studios to get back to people sometimes.
